About RnR Zone

The man has a beard and sunglasses on his bald head, and the woman has blonde hair, sunglasses on her head, and is wearing a black top. They are standing on a grassy area with the ocean, shoreline, and colorful sky with clouds in the background.

Who Are We?

We’re Ryan and Rachael, a married couple with a big love for camping, exploring, and life on the road. Rachael is originally from England but now proudly calls Australia home. Ryan is a born-and-bred West Aussie. Over the years, we’ve lived together in two of the most remote and opposite corners of Western Australia – and that love for wide open spaces never left us.

In 2024, we decided to take the leap and travel full-time around Australia in our caravan. With a sense of adventure (and a lot of curiosity), we hit the road in search of unforgettable places, peaceful campsites, and all the moments in between.

What’s in a Name?

RnRZone is more than just a name – it’s a reflection of who we are and how we travel.

It stands for Ryan and Rachael (RnR) and our trusty Zone RV caravan. But it’s also a nod to what we’re always chasing: that perfect R&R – Rest and Relaxation – Zone.

Whether it’s a quiet spot by the ocean, a red dirt bush camp, or a shady riverbank where the only sounds are birds and the breeze, we’re always looking for those pockets of calm where time slows down.

A Bit About Us…

Ryan is our chief explorer, always the first to say g’day to a new neighbour and happiest with a fishing rod in hand or a new spot to check out. He’s behind the wheel most of the time, and while he’s all for an adventure, he’s not a fan of gravel roads. He’s got a soft spot for a good local butcher and never passes up a car wash – gotta keep the rig looking sharp! Back at camp, Ryan’s in his element as the experimental cook, always keen to whip up something over the fire – whether it’s a tried-and-true recipe or a bold new bush tucker creation.

Rachael is the creative soul behind the camera – the passenger princess, proudly providing hydration, snacks, and entertainment for those long drives. You’ll usually find her with a book in hand, snapping photos, or wandering off on a scenic trail. She's also got a sharp eye for a good op shop find, especially if it’s quirky, vintage, or just begging for a second life.
